STEPS 2022

Friday 29th July 2022

STEPS to perform LIVE in Milton Keynes, Campbell Park this summer

Reformed 90’s pop group STEPS to perform 25th anniversary tour in Milton Keynes on Friday 29th July 2022

Get ready for the summer tour like no other. STEPS celebrate their 25th anniversary with their summer tour across the UK and will be joined by Louise Redknapp, Liberty X, Gareth Gates, and Dean McCullough.

Hailing from 1997, STEPS produced their line dancing classic 5, 6, 7, 8 along with Tragedy and Stomp and sky-rocketed through the charts with 10 UK top singles and three multi-platinum albums. Having officially reformed in 2017, STEPS graced the country with their latest album ‘What the Future Holds’ in 2020 with immense success. They’re now touring the UK celebrating 25 years since they began.

Louise Redknapp began her career in 1993 in the R&B group, Eternal, which saw her and the group reach quad-platinum album success with Always & Forever. Louise carried on solo with her releases Naked, Woman in Me and Elbow Beach, which also reached platinum status. To say she’s successful is an understatement of the year! Louise released her album Heavy Love in 2019 and continues her success with her touring the UK festival show scene this year.

20 years ago, fledgling popstar British-Irish group Liberty X came onto the scene in 2001 on the show Popstars and in just a few years went on to become UK superstars. They released ten consecutive UK top 20 singles such as Just A Little and Got To Have Your Love and received a Brit Award for Best Single! 2022 sees Liberty X undergo a resurgence, performing across the UK at club events and festivals. No doubt you’ll be asking for just a little bit more when their show ends…

The truly iconic Gareth Gates performs live alongside this icon. Starting his career on Pop Idol, Gates went onto achieve immense success in the early 2000s and is best known for his tracks What My Heart Wants and Go Your Own Way. As well as his successful music career, Gareth has starred in more than his fair share of musicals such as Les Misérables, Legally Blonde and Boogie nights. We can’t wait to have Gareth join us for what is set to be a 90s nostalgia show like no other.

BBC Radio DJ and TV presenter, Dean McCullough, will also be supporting STEPS for their anniversary show. Dean has had successful stints on radio on Gaydio and now hosts the midday show across the weekend on BBC Radio 1. He’s hosted the red-carpet event at London Fashion Week for Mercedes Benz and more and knows his way round an audience. Expect to hear Dean spinning the latest and greatest tracks across his set!

Join us on 29th July 2022, for a concert like no other; prepare to transport yourself back to simpler times, that much missed noughties era! The STEPS 25th anniversary tour will promise to bring you those all too familiar matching outfits, dazzling stage presence and catchy dance routines.
